Seth Morris is an improviser, actor, writer and producer living in Los Angeles. Seth started studying and performing with the Upright Citizens Brigade in 1997 and has been performing and teaching long form improv ever since. In 2005 he moved to Los Angeles to become Artistic Director of the UCB Theatre L.A. From there Seth went on to write and produce for the website Funny Or Die. As a writer Seth has worked on such shows as Children’s Hospital, The Kroll Show, The Eric Andre Show, Bajillion Dollar Propertie$, Do You Want To See A Dead Body? as well as specials for HBO and Comedy Central. Acting credits include It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, Curb Your Enthusiasm, The Kroll Show, Parks And Recreation, Broad City, Comedy Bang! Bang!, Love, The Good Place and Veep. Seth still performs improv at the UCB theatre in LA every week in The Facebook Show.
The Bearded Company has been performing and teaching together nationally and internationally since 2006. They have groups in Minneapolis and Los Angeles. Each group has a standing weekly show. Comedian, actor, writer and director Kevin McDonald founded “The Kids in the Hall” with friend Dave Foley, after they met in Toronto at Second City, and the television series ran from 1988-1995. In the troupe's television series and stage shows, he portrays several popular recurring characters, such as the King of Empty Promises, Sir Simon Milligan, and Jerry Sizzler. McDonald went on to appear in a variety of films including Boy Meets Girl, Lilo & Stitch, “Lilo & Stitch: The Series”, and Epic Movie. On television, he has appeared on “The Martin Short Show,” “Ellen,” “That '70s Show,” “Seinfeld,” “Friends,” “NewsRadio,” “MADtv,” “Arrested Development,” and “Corner Gas.” McDonald has also done voice work for various animated series, including Nickelodeon's “Invader Zim,” “The Angry Beavers,” “Catscratch,” and “Clerks: The Animated Series.” He also played an imaginary friend named Ivan in the episode ‘Sight for Sore Eyes’ on “Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends,” appeared in the music video for "Roses" by Outkast, and made an appearance in “Tim and Eric's Awesome Show.”
Matt Newell is an actor and improvisor in Los Angeles. He performs weekly at the Upright Citizens Brigade with Outside Dog in “Outside Dog Gets One Star” and is a producer/performer for the monthly show and podcast “I’m Too Effing High”. TV credits include Grandfathered, Comedy Bang! Bang! and Adam Ruins Everything.
Kelly Buttermore and Justin Peters are two of America's top independent touring improvisers. Since 2014, they have performed and taught over 250 shows and workshops in 24 different states, the District of Columbia, Canada, and international waters. Their signature form is the Walter, a minimalistic monoscene that emphasizes silence, eye contact, and total commitment to the moment. Off stage, they promote a DIY ethos that encourages improvisers to find their own voices and own their own work. They are based in New York City, where they are the founders of Countdown Theater, a roaming pop-up improv collaborative. Kelly and Justin are also the producers of Countdown Improv Festival, an annual traveling event that showcases trio, duo, and solo improvisers. They're very excited to be making their third appearance at the Omaha Improv Festival, and can't wait to be back in Omaha.
Amey Goerlich is the only female in the 15 year-old UCB indie quartet known as KROMPF. Currently she is living in Los Angeles and teaching/performing at M.I. Westside Comedy Theatre. She was the Host and Coordinator of Indie Cage Match at UCBeast for five years 2011-2016. She was the Artistic Director of the virtual theatre E-MPROV. A long form improviser from 2001-2016 at The Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre in NYC and she has coached over 400+ long form improv teams (some online like from Bali). She also co-created an improv card game called ‘Humans Being an improv card game’ you can find it on Amazon. Stacey is a loud Long Islander who recently relocated to Boston by way of Chicago. She is currently the Comedy School Manager at ImprovBoston and can soon be seen performing regularly on the ImprovBoston Mainstage as well as on both the Music Improv Cast and the LateNight Improv Cast. When in Chicago, Stacey performs with The Deltones and The Musical Armando at iO as well as at CSz. She performed for many years in various projects with The Second City such as Life Hacks, The Really Awesome Improv Show, #DateMe and two contracts onboard the Norwegian Breakaway. Stacey also has various independent teams (Stacked: All-Female Musical Improv and Brouhaha: An Improvised Puppet Musical) that perform and instruct nationally at festivals. She is a former instructor in the A-E Program, Youth&Teen Program and The Wellness Program at The Second City and recently created her own program called S.H.E (Sisterhood. Humor. Empowerment) for female identifying students ages 8-18. In addition, she also has taught at iO and The Playground Theater and is the former head of the Training Center at CSz Theater Chicago. Stacey is the Creator/Executive Producer of the Chicago Musical Improv Festival.
For four beautiful years, Just Friends has been a Denver-based improv and sketch comedy group from Grafenberg Productions. Max Schwartz and Justin Franzen teach and perform with Grafenberg Productions at The Deer, Comedy Roomroom, and other Denver hotspots. Although there is a strong connection between them, they keep everything platonic on and off stage.
